Mindset Mastery and the Law of Attraction

“What’s Next … After you’re no longer a beginner? Then what?”

That’s one of your burning questions about ‘the work’ or ‘the play’ with the Law of Attraction. Isn’t it interesting to note that, depending on what side of the equation you’re on, sometimes it feels like work and sometimes it feels like play.

Which is it for you? I’m assuming that by this question you’re saying “I’m no longer a beginner with the Law of Attraction material … and I’m still not getting what I want”.

It’s Like the Air We Breathe – Resistance Goes Undistinguished

Chances are you’ve got more resistance in play than you realize. I know that’s how it was (and sometimes is) for me. The fact of the matter is, most of us have unconscious beliefs weighing us down. I teach (use) tapping, Emotional Freedom Technique, to all my clients. There’s a lot of free information on the web, if you’d like to research it.

Tapping helps you be with the less-than-positive emotions so you can get a grip on them and start to move the energy. I do NOT advise you to ignore the emotion. I heard someone call it a Spiritual Bypass. All emotion is information. It will inform you as to how you’re running your energy. And it that energy is persistent, then you know you have some inner work to do. Tapping helps you consciously move the energy.

I’ll admit sometimes it feels like work to me. So don’t feel bad. You can feel bad long enough to notice and then choose again how you want to feel. If you want to become more masterful you must feel, notice and choose again, notice and choose.

The key is to consciously choose. Choice puts you in the present moment – where ALL your power is. When we’re in reaction, we’re acting from a past thought, feeling or belief, very unconsciously.

The person who asked “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” was merely asking for driving directions. You and I are asking for guidance, tools and practices. So the answer is always “Practice, practice, practice.”

Make Your Work More Like Play

Our point of view determines how we frame our experience – and how we attract. Is it ‘work’ or is it ‘play’ for you?

It’s remarkable to remember that we could easily tap into play energy as children. If you find that hard to recall, go watch children at play. You’ll see energy, enthusiasm, and freedom.

When it’s your preference to go back to basics and make your play your practice, you’ll become masterful. Until then, practice like a master. Make your practice your play that will ensure you do it on a regular basis. There’s a lot of power in going back to the basics. Keep building your strong foundation. In time (and because the LOA is always adding unto) you’ll be soaring and masterful!
