			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h5>Action or Alignment &#8211; Which Comes First?</h5>
<p>It depends.</p>
<p>Deliberate creating means that you have a definite objective, goal or desire. That&#8217;s the deliberate part. The creating part is getting your internal state to match your outer expectations and actions. Exactly what do I mean by the internal state? An internal state is the mental and emotional representation using your imagination to engage all the senses, including the emotions, of what you&#8217;ll feel when you actually have what you desire.</p>
<p>I often tell my clients that they shouldn&#8217;t &#8220;fake it til they make it&#8221; &#8211; unless they&#8217;re in complete integrity with their expectations. If you&#8217;re out of alignment with your goal (have a low expectation, doubt, wonder how long, fret, etc.), the goal will be very slow in manifesting.</p>
<p>Taking action on top of mis-alignment is hard work. It feels like struggle, low self-confidence and flagging self-esteem. However, if you&#8217;re excited about your goals and what you&#8217;re creating, being in action feels like fun motion forward. It&#8217;s exhilarating. The action helps you sustain your alignment. Let me offer some examples.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s use the example of Sandra who wants a promotion.</p>
<p>Sandra has been at her job for 3 1/2 years. She sees others get promoted and keeps getting passed over. It&#8217;s not her style to be the &#8220;squeaky wheel.&#8221; But she has no trouble complaining to her friends and co-workers about her situation. By her own admission, she lacks the confidence she needs to approach management to find out what it would take for her to get the next promotion.</p>
<h5>Alignment into Action</h5>
<p>One way Sandra might manage this is to uncover what her deep-seated beliefs and fears are. What drives her lack of confidence? What stories or judgments does she have in place that occur for her as a locked-in-stone reality? Then we&#8217;d go about dismantling those beliefs. We&#8217;d reconstruct new beliefs to support her confidence and her worthiness. We&#8217;d support all this with energy work. Once she has anchored in these new practices and beliefs, Sandra would be in alignment with (a vibrational match to) her goals. She would begin to show up in new ways. She would be perceived as more empowered. Sandra would soon be inspired to new actions. A promotion is on its way.</p>
<h5>Action into Alignment</h5>
<p>Let&#8217;s take the example of finding actions that will cause her to feel aligned with her goals and desires. Using the same example of Sandra, she desires a promotion and a raise in salary. Sandra is still a bit low key. As my client, I ask Sandra what she thinks the logical next action step would be for her to bump up her confidence level. (Underlying all of her poor  manifesting is her low expectation, and belief she&#8217;s not good enough.)</p>
<p>We brainstorm some ideas that bring in more vitality, fun, and occasions to feel more confident and worthy. I&#8217;d instruct her to make a game of it, be curious, amused and interested to see what happens. Some examples are: for Sandra to go to a social dance club and ask people she doesn&#8217;t know to dance. Another might be to take a martial arts class and feel the power in her body. Still another could be to engage one complete stranger in casual conversation every day. That could be at the coffee shop, the bookstore, the deli counter, at the elevator, or the grocery store.</p>
<p>Sandra would intend to take actions that boost her confidence and she&#8217;d watch for evidence that she&#8217;s being well received. Can you see how this action would help you move into greater alignment with confidence?</p>
<h5>Attraction in Action</h5>
<p>In either case action first or alignment first, Sandra starts to show up interested, curious, amused. She starts thinking outside the box. Shares her insights. She&#8217;s articulate, lively, confident. Now she&#8217;s attracting big time! People notice. Her requests are clear and direct. She&#8217;s feels empowered to contribute her insights. Her boss notices these traits as valuable contributions. The next logical (and aligned) step for Sandra is to ask for the promotion. (This or something better).</p>
<p>Sandra has been investing in herself with coaching. She knows her goals and desires are in the deliberate creation vortex. If this promotion doesn&#8217;t come from her current employer, it will come from an even better situation.</p>
<p>Either way you slice it you must be a match on the inside before it can show up (sustainably) on the outside. You can&#8217;t fool mother nature, you can&#8217;t fool the universe. It&#8217;s not responding to your words but to your energy.</p>
<p>What are you transmitting?</p>
<p>As humans, our journey runs on two tracks. The emotional (energetic) track and the action track. Find your alignment by the inner work or the outer work. Make your work your play and you&#8217;ll have a much happier time of it. As one of the great teachers of Deliberate Creation, Abraham-Hicks says: &#8220;There&#8217;s never a happy ending to an unhappy journey.&#8221;</p>
<p>Have fun with it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Perhaps you&#8217;ve heard me (or others) say &#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>&#8220;You MUST be a match on the inside before it can show up on the outside.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>A lot of people get frustrated with the whole law of attraction  concept. They think they should be getting faster results, instant  manifestations and have a much easier time of it, in general. The hit  movie &#8220;The Secret&#8221; left its viewers with false hopes. It implied that  all you have to do is persistently think about what you want and POOF it  will show up.</p>
<p>The Secret didn&#8217;t take into consideration that most of us have cross  currents in our thinking. These crossed currents, mixed or counter  intentions serve to delay, distort or even halt manifestation. Be honest  with yourself for a moment. What happens any time you reach outside  your current comfort zone? Perhaps you want to earn more income by  seeking a new career. You may want to move to a new city for a fresh  start. You may want to be in a committed relationship and start a  family.</p>
<h5>Your Desire Has Pulling Power</h5>
<p>Whatever your desire, when you first think about it, it feels very  appealing, exciting and the idea of having the experience is very  compelling. What happens next is where the disconnect occurs. Anytime we  attempt something new, our current &#8216;safe pattern&#8217; rears it&#8217;s head.  Let&#8217;s say you tell a family member about your plans. They may play  devil&#8217;s advocate and try to pose reasons why you should just stay put.</p>
<p>By nature, humans have a strong pull for the familiar. That&#8217;s why it  seems like it takes so much effort to change. Whenever we reach out of  our comfort zone, the brain, our memories and thoughts get activated to  seek and find patterns it can associate with.</p>
<h5>The Familiar Has Pulling Power</h5>
<p>If we don&#8217;t have anything positive to associate with the experience,  the tendency will be to associate with some failure from the past. This  makes it hard for anything new to come into our life experience.  However, knowing what we now know about the brain and energy, whenever  thoughts and fears about what you&#8217;re creating arise, simply list what  fearful and failure thoughts arise and then consciously, deliberately  overlay those thoughts and feelings with success and satisfaction  thoughts and feelings. If you&#8217;ll do this daily, including all the  senses, until your desire manifests you&#8217;ll rewire your brain and attract  your desires.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s like &#8220;pulling weeds and planting flowers&#8221; in your mind.  Neuroscience tells us we can change our brain by thinking. But it&#8217;s not a  one-shot deal. It takes practice and consistency.</p>

<h5>Consistency is Key</h5>
<p>I recommend you make this practice a playful one &#8211; this way you&#8217;ll  stay with it. Consistent creating with your imagination first will have  an effect on the brain in the same way Olympic athletes enhance their  performance. The trained mind is physically difference than the  untrained one. Experiments prove that you can improve how the brain  works and that actually changes the mind. It expands the ability of the  mind, which in turn expands the capacities of the brain. That&#8217;s called  &#8220;neuroplasticity&#8221;. The most exciting brain science discovery in over 10  years.</p>
<p>It takes effort to break up fearful, limiting mental programs and  patterns. Especially when the pull for safety and familiarity is so  strong. Living a life of little expansion, slow progress and no  possibility feels like &#8220;doing time&#8221; on planet earth. Our true nature is  that of an ever evolving energetic being. Affirming higher  brain-mind-body functioning is a must to experience satisfying motion  forward.</p>
<h5>Have Fun With It</h5>
<p>To stay consistent with the energy tools you choose, make sure  they&#8217;re fun. When they&#8217;re fun, you&#8217;ll be more likely to practice them.  Master your mindset and be an internal match to your desires. With  practice comes satisfying self-mastery.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It takes energy to manifest anything. Why? Because it takes energy to imagine, assemble, construct, implement and further any dream, goal or aspiration. Since everything is one form or energy or another, transmuting the energy of thought and desire into action that will lead to a physical item or experience takes focused intention and effort on your part. Therefore, it requires your personal power.</p>
<h5>How do I define personal power?</h5>
<p>Often times it&#8217;s useful to start by saying what personal power is not. Personal power is not force, machismo, or ego-driven action. Tony Robbins says personal power is the ability to take action. Personal power is a lot more than your ability to take action.</p>
<p>Personal power is inner confidence and assurance. It&#8217;s trust that your desires are worthy. Personal power based on trust and confidence keeps you on track when the evidence of your actions doesn&#8217;t seem be heading toward success. <a href="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/victorious-woman-daybreak.jpg"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-393" title="victorious-woman-daybreak" src="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/victorious-woman-daybreak-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="124" height="124" /></a></p>
<p>Personal power requires that you have the heart and soul to confront your fears &#8211; not squash them &#8211; but manage them as information. Fear poses contrast to your goal. Contrast is to be used as information, not destroyed, masked over, or ignored. Contrast, or any negative emotion is another form of energy. Transform and transmute the energy of your fears and limiting beliefs into useful guidance.</p>
<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Within you right now is the power to do things you never dreamed possible. This power becomes available to you just as soon as you can change your beliefs.&#8221; ~Maxwell Maltz~</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Personal power requires that you identify the thoughts, feelings and beliefs that could get in your way. It doesn&#8217;t mean that you never experience fear. I never recommend that you &#8216;feel the fear and do it anyway.&#8217; I suggest that you find out what that fear is saying to you. Question that voice. Who&#8217;s voice is speaking? Is it true? Probably not.</p>
<p>If you have an idea and the desire to see it fulfilled, chances are it&#8217;s your creative impulse to expand and express in your world. This is the natural inclination of a creator. You were designed to have ideas that lead to fruition. You are made in the image and likeness of the Creator.</p>

<p>Personal power calls you to your next highest level. Personal power is the willingness to accept that it&#8217;s up to you to marshal all the talents and abilities you have to focus on your intended result until that result (or something better) has materialized. Best of all, you never have to build your personal power base alone. Ask for help. Call on your Higher Self, invite in your Guidance in the form of Guardian Angels, or any Being of Light you choose. This is how you delegate to the Universe.</p>
<h5>Alignment with Your Personal Power</h5>
<p>You&#8217;ve stepped into trust. You&#8217;ve asked for guidance. Now you&#8217;re in alignment. When you&#8217;re in alignment with your power you feel awesome; strong, influential, happy, centered. You feel certain, you experience the peak state of &#8220;flow.&#8221; Things line up for you. It feels like effortless progress, joyful motion forward. You&#8217;ve stopped bucking the current. You&#8217;ve stopped pushing agendas and hammering every last, little detail into place. You easily release the need to control. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>Three Powerful Keys to Deliberate Creation</h3>
<p>I&#8217;ve given many hours of of thought to what it takes to distill into bite sized chunks what gets in the way of being a deliberate creator. I&#8217;ve studied, read, practiced, played, created and taught many tools to myself and others to assist them into alignment with their desires.</p>
<p>What I&#8217;ve found is that there are three major keys that align us with our desires manifesting. If you have been wanting to become a powerful co-creator of your experience but find you don&#8217;t sustain significant progress, consider that:</p>
<p>1) you may not have defined what you want without contradicted energy running simultaneously,</p>
<p>2) you may not be taking the right kind of action, or</p>
<p>3) there are more unconscious beliefs causing you to sabotage and block yourself from lasting results.</p>
<p>What if you are presently creating your life? Are you enjoying the results?<br />
What if you&#8217;re deliberately trying to design your life but don&#8217;t like what you&#8217;re getting?<br />
And what if you can&#8217;t blame the economy, your Ex-spouse, your teenager, or politicians for any of it?</p>
<p>Ouch!</p>
<p>I know it can be a tough pill to swallow. But along with the fact that you can&#8217;t blame anyone (not even yourself) for what you&#8217;re living, you can derive a tremendous amount of personal power when you&#8217;re willing to take responsibility for the life you have now.</p>
<p>Taking responsibility means you&#8217;ve taken your power back. Now you can start directing your life in a meaningful way. What are those three powerful keys to deliberate creation?</p>
<h5>Key Number 1 – Clarify Your Desire</h5>
<p>Get crystal clear about what you want. Ask yourself these questions: What do I want? Why do I want it? How will it feel when I have what I want? Answering these questions will help you get clear about what you want. Just be clear, is what you want a goal that belongs to you or someone else? Do you want it from the point of view of scarcity and fear, or does that desire pull you into joyful action?</p>
<h5>Key Number 2 – Take Actions that Inspire</h5>
<p>When your desires are clear it&#8217;s easy to take aligned and inspired action. We were taught that working hard, struggle and striving built character. It doesn&#8217;t work that way with inspired action. With inspired action you may be putting in long hours, but it&#8217;s fun, time flies. You&#8217;d willing do that action all day &#8211; every day.</p>
<p>And &#8230; Most Important of All!</p>
<h5>Key Number 3 – Get the Static Off the Wire</h5>
<p>You&#8217;ve heard a radio station that&#8217;s not tuned in properly. The static is the resistance, the noise, the impedance, the blockage. It shows up as the inner critic, limiting self-talk, the conscious and unconscious programs that keep us apart from our desires manifesting.</p>
<p>You must surface up unconscious and limiting beliefs that block your from lasting success – the noise, limiting self-talk, inner critic – the static is the resistance. It&#8217;s keeping you from what you want.</p>
<p>Limiting beliefs can feel like they have a strangle-hold on you. Addressing them is not usually a one time event. You can soften their grip by asking yourself some questions. &#8220;Is that my truth? Where did that belief come from? Who&#8217;s voice is telling me that&#8217;s true?&#8221;</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve all inherited a large portion of our world view from our elders. It takes some guidance, persistence, kindness (to self) and patience. Mastering your mindset is possible, and like anything that takes mastery you owe it to yourself to adopt a daily practice that supports this kind of thinking.</p>
<p>Fortunately, there is a growing audience of people who are taking their brain, their mind and personal power back. We have reached critical mass on planet earth. The most important part is that you remain consistent, deliberate and kind to yourself and have fun on your journey. All is well and getting better.</p>

<h5>I&#8217;m Expecting!</h5>
<p>I&#8217;ve been excitedly expectant since before the beginning of the New  Year of 2012. I can&#8217;t tell you why. I&#8217;ve had a certain &#8220;knowing&#8221; that  this year is going to be different &#8211; by an order of magnitude &#8211; than the  previous years for me, personally. Interestingly, many of my friends,  colleagues and clients have echoed the same sentiments.</p>
<p>Today is the Chinese New Year. It marks year 4709 in the Chinese  calendar. That puts a new perspective on our own culture, doesn&#8217;t it?  Perhaps there&#8217;s something from this celebration that we can incorporate  in our Western New Year.</p>

<h5>Your Choice &#8211; Danger or Fortune</h5>
<p>In Western culture dragons are considered to be scary and dangerous.  However, Chinese Dragons were praised and known as divine creatures by  native people. The Chinese Dragon signifies good fortune in the areas of  health, wealth and living a long, prosperous life.</p>
<p>A Chinese New Year tradition is to thoroughly clean the house and  sweep away any ill-fortune to make way for good fortune through the  coming year. Decorations of red colored paper-cuts with popular themes  of &#8220;good fortune&#8221; or &#8220;happiness&#8221;, &#8220;wealth&#8221;, and &#8220;longevity&#8221; also adorn  windows and doors. In Chinese culture, the color Red symbolizes good  fortune and joy.</p>
<h5>What if Choosing Your Focus Is All It Takes?</h5>
<p>What if those things we considered scary and dangerous (like dragons)  were a symbol of the possibility of joy and prosperity? Would we launch  into a new year with upbeat expectancy?<br />
What if there was no real danger &#8220;out there&#8221; but the reflections of our  own unconscious fears and projections? What if we live in a loving,  abundant Universe that&#8217;s on our side?</p>
<p>What if <em>we really do have free will?</em> What if the Universe (God) <em>really does listen</em>. And not only listens to the words you say, but to the energy you project &#8212; <em>and says YES every time?</em> Would you pay better attention to your energy, thoughts and intentions?</p>

It&#8217;s actually a bit of a coin toss unless you&#8217;re absolutely clear about the effective guidelines on how to create and utilize your affirmations.</p>
<p>The two words <em>&#8220;I Am&#8221;</em> are two of the most powerful words in the English language. These two words are the basic building block of affirmations.<a href="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/affirmations-stones.jpg"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-361" title="hp photosmart 720" src="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/affirmations-stones-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="130" height="130" /></a></p>
<h5>You Can Use Affirmations for Anything</h5>
<p>You can use affirmations to shift a mood or amp up your energy.<br />
You can use affirmations to re-train your brain for expecting manifestations.<br />
You can use affirmations to recast your expectations.<br />
You can use affirmations to empower your goals.<br />
You can use affirmations to become more magnetic to your desires.</p>
<p>To build confidence when creating your affirmations, please note that you must start where you are. As obvious as that may seem, the fact is wherever you are on the path of achieving your goals, you&#8217;re not there yet or you wouldn&#8217;t be affirming what you desire.</p>
<h5>Start Where You Are</h5>
<p>You must being where you are. Many people trample over their current low energy and want to run all the way BLISS. You must be honest about where you are. From there you can move up the energy scale quickly by taking mindful steps to higher intention and greater attraction.</p>
<p>Be honest with yourself about where you are emotionally. Don&#8217;t worry, you won&#8217;t be there long. In fact, you can pivot right off that point so you can begin to train your energy; mind and emotions to expect wonderful things in a few short minutes.</p>
<h5>You Can&#8217;t Get There from Here</h5>
<p>You can&#8217;t get to blissed out manifestation from low grade depression. Use affirmations to raise your energy. Take it a step at a time. Because the Law of Attraction matches your energy, keep reaching for a better feeling by using affirmations.</p>

<p>Goal: To lose 15 pounds.<br />
Your feelings and thoughts run along these lines:</p>
<p><em>&#8220;I feel disgusted with myself. I’ve gained more weight on top of already being overweight. It&#8217;s going to be a struggle. I&#8217;ve come to rely on mid-day treats to boost my energy. I love sweet snacks. It feels like a &#8216;no win&#8217; situation.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>The fact is you are vibrationally transmitting those thoughts and feelings.  To deny that by slapping an Affirmation on top of that simply won&#8217;t work. The Universe speaks the language of energy, not English, German, Spanish or Swahili &#8212; but <em>ENERGY</em>.</p>
<h5>Reach for A Better Feeling Thought</h5>

Find the feeling of how you will feel when. . .<br />
&#8230; When you fit into all the beautiful clothes in your closet.<br />
&#8230; When you like what you see in the mirror.<br />
&#8230; When your confidence soars.<br />
&#8230; When you enjoy the freedom of movement in your body.</p>
<p>From there you can go anywhere and the Law of Attraction will support you.</p>
<p>For example,<br />
<em>I feel great. I feel free and confident in my body now.</em><br />
<em> I am loving my flexibility and freedom of movement.</em><br />
<em> I feel strong, confident, vital and attractive.</em></p>

<p>Since all there really is at any moment is the present, ALWAYS phrase your affirmation in the present tense. Avoid the present progressive or gerund form, such as &#8220;I am going to be fit and trim&#8221;. This places the event in the future. Similarly, stay away from the future tense as well such as, &#8220;I will eat healthy portions.&#8221; The future never comes &#8211; it&#8217;s always in the future. The present is all we have.</p>
<h5>Affirmation Guidelines</h5>
<p>1. State your affirmations in the present tense.<br />
2. Keep them languaged in the positive! Never use the negative form such as: &#8220;I won&#8217;t      overeat today. I am no longer an emotional eater.&#8221;<br />
3. Keep your affirmations short and sweet.<br />
4. Create affirmations that feel good to you.<br />
5. Always say your affirmations with joyful expectancy &#8216;as if&#8217; that experience is yours NOW.</p>
<p>Remember, the Universe is listening in on what you&#8217;re transmitting. Take the time to tune in and notice what you&#8217;re actually transmitting. Use affirmations deliberately to move preferred thoughts and energy in.<em> Now you&#8217;re attracting what you want!</em></p>
<p>You were meant to thrive, succeed, and experience life to its fullest. Use Law of Attraction Affirmations to move your energy, and attract and achieve your goals. Backed with positive emotion, you can achieve and attract any good thing.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa &amp; New Years &#8211; all holidays we love to celebrate. I&#8217;m curious, how did you dress?</p>
<p>Did you dress to impress, did you dress for comfort or did you get dressed in festive holiday motifs? Anyway you dress is fine, as long as you&#8217;re feeling happy and well. But let me take it a step further. How did you dress energetically?</p>
<p><em>What do I mean by dressing energetically?</em></p>
<p>It&#8217;s so easy to let the momentum of the holidays and the season overtake us. We feel the stress accumulate from rushing to get that last 5 things done. We aim to please by saying &#8220;yes&#8221; to another invitation. We eat too many rich foods, skip the exercise or meditation and sleep a little less.</p>
<p>How did you manage your energy? Did you intend in advance of going into action? Did you dress with the energy of your intentions? I play a little game with myself and my clients. It&#8217;s called &#8220;Get dressed in energetic attire.&#8221; You imagine yourself standing in front of a 3-way mirror and you try on clothes of positive emotion. Next, you notice how it feels. You look at yourself, turn around and feel how good you feel with the different states of emotion. We practice this in advance of going into action, especially a challenging action.<br />

I got dressed with the energy of grace, elegance, and deliciousness. I sent the intentions that all my dishes being timed properly, tasting scrumptious. I intended that people arrive on time, dinner be served on time. I intended for a joyful, peaceful, contented group of sharing and interactions. It all came together better than I could have hoped for!!</p>
<p>It was the same for my clients in our Mindset Mastery group. They reported having very blessed, contented and joyful holidays. Wow &#8211; to be able to pre-intend and get what you want or better. Now that&#8217;s worth practicing, wouldn&#8217;t you agree?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h5>Has this Year Been the Rock &amp; Roll-est Year Ever?</h5>
<p>It has been for me. And not always in the most pleasant of ways! There have been lots of things getting my attention. I&#8217;ve been releasing sadness from the loss of two family members, dealing with another illness of a sister. Ups and downs and lots of unconscious material coming to the surface.</p>
<p><em>Can you relate?</em></p>
<h5>Contrast</h5>
<p>We call that contrast. It&#8217;s the contrast to what is desired. Please don&#8217;t misunderstand, contrast is not bad. It&#8217;s not to be avoided, and it is not wrong. Contrast is part of the human condition in our free will universe. Without contrast life would be bland. We&#8217;d have no distinctions. Contrast: here/there, up/down, want/have, fear/peace, confused/clear.</p>
<p>If there was no contrast, there&#8217;d be no distinctions, no differences, everything would be the same. How boring! It&#8217;s true when contrast is intense we want a break in the extreme contrast. That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m writing this post to show you how you can take it a little easier and to share how the gift of contrast can be used for clarity.</p>
<h5>Clarity through Contrast</h5>
<p>We note that sometimes things show up that we don&#8217;t really care for and that causes us to feel negative emotion. As deliberate creators we do well to remember the function contrast. Contrast helps us clarify what we want. This &#8220;something&#8221; has our attention. We focus on that annoying, scary (contrasting) situation. However, because we know the thing that has our attention is some thing we don&#8217;t want, we&#8217;re now in the perfect position to clearly define  what it is we DO want. Clarity through contrast.</p>
<p><strong>Here are <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Three Clarifying Questions</span> designed to help you be attractive to what you want.</strong></p>
<h5>Powerful Question #1</h5>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;What do I want?&#8221;</strong></em><br />
Make sure you&#8217;re getting clear on all the details of what you want. Enjoy the specifics of what you want. If you start to get the &#8220;Yeah, Buts,&#8221; back it down to a more general desire until you can clear out some of the resistant thoughts, emotions and beliefs.</p>
<h5>Powerful Question #2</h5>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;Why do I want it?&#8221;</strong></em><br />
Most of us answer this question backward. We answer why we &#8216;don&#8217;t&#8217; want it. Like this: I want a loving relationship because I&#8217;m sick of being alone on Saturday nights. Plus, it&#8217;s cheaper to live as a couple. Can you see why stating more of what you don&#8217;t want stops the attractor factor?</p>
<p>State WHY you want what you want in compelling, high energy descriptions. Write it down so you can reference those exact details for the next step.</p>
<h5>Powerful Question #3</h5>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;How will it feel once I have it?&#8221;</strong></em><br />
This is the Golden Nugget. Describe how you will feel once you have what you want &#8211; now you&#8217;re actively in the attraction mode. You&#8217;re vibing to the energy of already having it. Play in this space daily. Stay there for 30 seconds at a time. Engage all the senses, really feel it. Imagine calling your best friend and telling her with excited enthusiasm &#8220;Guess what&#8230;.. ?&#8221; As if it just arrived!</p>
<p>That&#8217;s how to really ramp up the attractor factor. Stay with this practice. Manifestation is not instant for most of us. Make it fun, keep your attention focused on how it feels to have it. Our biggest work as deliberate creators is to stay in the higher vibe ranges of trust, appreciation and expectancy.</p>

<p>Not tuning in to your energy and emotions could cost you a lot more than you bargained for this holiday season. Following the guidance that your emotions can provide you is the single most important practice for the Deliberate Creator.</p>
<h5>Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) is Over-rated</h5>
<p>Why is positive mental attitude over-rated? Feel the fear and do it anyway? I don&#8217;t think so.<br />
Fake it &#8217;til you make it? Not a good plan.</p>
<p>Why am I asserting all these things we&#8217;ve all heard over and over again &#8211; don&#8217;t work?<br />
There&#8217;s one simple reason. There&#8217;s an all important element missing in the equation. What&#8217;s the missing element? It&#8217;s your emotions. More specifically, it&#8217;s the disregard of your emotions as  information.</p>
<h5>Emotions As Guidance</h5>
<p>We all know that everything is energy. Your emotions are energy, too. How you feel is a sort of bio-feedback mechanism. Your energy, via your emotions, is a reference point telling you how you are focusing your attention. Blindly forcing a positive mental attitude (PMA) on top of negative emotion is a disregard for the information your emotional guidance system is trying to show you.</p>
<p>Feeling fear, anxiety, anger (or any negative emotion) and then going into action anyway is a poor use of your energy. The results you get won&#8217;t be as satisfying, if you get results at all. Faking it until you make it might fool some people and last in the short term. But you can&#8217;t fool Mother Nature. You can&#8217;t fool the Universe with inauthentic (misaligned) action or energy.</p>
<h5>What Is Aligned Action?</h5>
<p>We all know what mis-aligned energy and actions feel like. Have you ever been there? I have. It&#8217;s especially easy to get out of whack during the holidays. Doing things you think you &#8216;should&#8217; do with a disregard for self-care. Too much running around. Too many parties. Eating and spending too much. These are all actions that pull us farther away from well-being.</p>
<p>Aligned energy and actions are things that feel good when you do them. It feels like you&#8217;re going with the flow, rather than bucking the current. It&#8217;s like driving and getting green lights all day long.</p>
<h5>How Do I Align My Energy?</h5>
<p>As you plan all your goings and doings for the day, keep in mind how you want to feel through it all. What do you intend to accomplish and how do you want to feel? By simply calling to mind your intentions before you take action, you send a powerful energy current in advance of your actions. Try it. You&#8217;re going to like it because it really works.</p>
<h5>What If I Don&#8217;t Want to Do Something I Should?</h5>
<p>We all have too many &#8216;shoulds&#8217; placed on us by ourselves or others. So I reflect back to you: &#8220;Is it a SHOULD or a MUST?&#8221; In other words, if it&#8217;s a MUST (like paying the rent) then it&#8217;s an agreed upon arrangement that you entered into and it&#8217;s your responsibility to honor your commitment. To remain in integrity, that would be a MUST.</p>
<p>A SHOULD, on the other hand, is an entirely different situation. Ask yourself a different set questions:</p>
<p>&#8220;Will it add to my well-being or diminish it?&#8221;<br />
&#8220;Am I doing it in order to look good or gain approval?&#8221;<br />
&#8220;Who&#8217;s point of view is running my decision to do this thing?&#8221;</p>
<p>Can you imagine what our lives would be like if we put our well-being in the first position? Perhaps you think that would be selfish. My own mother would. She sacrificed it all, her emotional balance, her health, her happiness. She was raised believing you have to sublimate your self for the family. From my point of view, that didn&#8217;t work out so well.</p>
<p>Well-Being, Vitality, Joy, Fulfillment, Freedom, Generosity, Flexibility, Creativity. Those states of being all equate with being connected with our Source (I call that God). That&#8217;s our true identity. When we vibrate our true nature &#8211; everybody wins.</p>
<h5>Make It A Win-Win</h5>
<p>This holiday season make it a Win-Win. Delegate to others when making your (never-ending) To Do List. Allow them to get in on the contribution. Let them know you appreciate it and that they&#8217;re an important piece to the holiday mix.</p>
<p>Take time for you. Put your feet up. Take daily 15 minute time-outs with nothing at all to do. Make one less meal. Go to one less party. Like and approve of yourself.</p>
<p>What if you could manage your energy this well all year long? It might become a new habit. We all have endless opportunities to get it right. Any time you notice your energy going south, simply notice the pattern and consciously choose to shift your focus. This approach is so much different than feeling the fear, or slapping a positive affirmation on top of anxiety. Conscious choice is  evolution of consciousness.</p>
<p>All our energy; emotions, thoughts and feelings are either by choice of by default. Evolve your state of being by choosing your energy preference. May you enjoy success deliberately choosing your energy. And may you have a holiday filled with well-being, loving connection and joy.</p>

<p>Think of it this way, if everything is energy and we&#8217;re all in motion, the holidays bring up a lot more activity and emotion. Much of that energy and emotion is unconscious. So if we don&#8217;t have coping mechanisms, or energy practices in place for well-being we can tend to be pulled along with the undertow.</p>
<h5>What Does Well-Being Mean to You?</h5>
<p>Good health, good fortune, contentment, success, abundance, freedom, enjoyment. Ease in body, mind and spirit. Clarity and ability to choose wisely. That covers well-being for me. Contrast that list of descriptive states of well-being with what normally happens during the holidays.</p>
<p>Cooking too much, eating too much of the wrong foods. Jamming in another party, rushing out to buy another last minute gift. Dropping the exercise or meditation routine because there&#8217;s too much to do. Eating too much sugar, drinking too much alcohol. Bloating. Wow, what a contrast!</p>
<p><a href="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/IAteTooMuch1.jpeg"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-310" title="IAteTooMuch" src="http://mindsetmasterymadeeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/IAteTooMuch1-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="107" height="107" /></a>It&#8217;s true there&#8217;s some merry making in between it all, but at what cost? If you&#8217;re the kind of person who has a hard time saying &#8220;No,&#8221; then it&#8217;s that much more imperative that you find your boundaries and honor them.</p>
<p>I propose that you can establish healthy boundaries, enjoy the holidays, and remain in a state of well-being. How, you ask? By practicing these quick and easy energy tips and tools.</p>
<h5>Tip #1 &#8211; Three Conscious Breaths</h5>
<p>Close your eyes. Place your hand on your heart. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth. Exhale on the syllable &#8211; Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Do this 3 times.</p>
<p>Conscious breathing will bring you back into your body and thereby brings you back into the present moment. All of your power is in the here and now. When you run into the future, planning on what you need to do next and how you&#8217;re going to fit it all in today, not only do you breath shallowly, your cortisol levels spike. And you know what cortisol, stress do for increasing belly fat.</p>
<p>Instead tune in, breathe and trigger the comfort hormone, oxytocin. You do things for your entire nervous system when you breath this way.</p>
<h5>Tip #2 &#8211; Trouble saying &#8216;NO&#8217;</h5>
<p>If you have a hard time saying &#8220;No&#8221;, you&#8217;re not alone. The people pleaser in us wants to be of service. We often feel flattered being asked, being needed. You don&#8217;t have to alienate someone by saying No outright. It&#8217;s easier when you don&#8217;t have to commit in the moment. Try offering that you have to check your schedule against the family schedule first. This buys you time. It&#8217;s will be a lot easier to center yourself and respond later that you just can&#8217;t fit that duty into your schedule.</p>
<h5>Tip #3 &#8211; Play the &#8216;What If&#8217; Game</h5>
<p><em>What if</em> I could wave my magic wand and give you a magic wand? <em>What if</em> you were Queen for the day and you could delegate? <em>What if</em> five of those ten things were insignificant things that don&#8217;t really need to get done? <em>What if</em> you could be of service in ways that are great but don&#8217;t cost you a lot of energy or stress? Hmmmm, what if that was sharing some encouragement, a compliment, or a smile? <em>What if</em> you spent a few moments appreciating everyone who wants your attention? <em>What if</em> you empowered them to do things for themselves? Or even for you?! <em>What if</em> it could all really be that easy? Wow, <em>what if?</em></p>

Learn to say YES to you by saying NO to the frenzy. And take a few moments to engage your imagination for lightening your load. When you use these quick tips, you&#8217;ll tap into your natural state of well-being, have a lot more personal power and enjoy the holidays more than ever.</p>
